I don't get a ton of time to stamp anymore, but when the chance came up to pull out these little kitty stamps again I couldn't resist! Here are my cards:
I knew I wanted to group the kitties and use some grey. I was also wanting to use my houndstooth background stamp (can't get enough of that pattern these days!). After that it was just a matter of putting it all together.
Like a good stamper, I knew I needed to practice my layout a few times. The first results didn't sit well for the card I wanted to make, so I decided to dig into my scrap stash. The gold almost jumped out of the pile at me, so I fidgeted a bit and ended up with a second card out of the exercise!
I really like using animal stamps on textured paper. I think it adds something nice when I color them in. I used my colored pencils in the same way I would use Copic markers (including little shadows underneath them).
What do you think, should I add one more kitty to this?

The kitties on the textured paper is genius. It makes them look fluffy. I really like the little tabs you made with paper and brads, so effective.

Fun, cute cards! The almost ribbon looking affect with paper and brads was such a creative addition! And you're right, the houndstooth works well!
